Uname: Linux coruscant 4.3.3-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Dec 23 20:09: x86_64 GNU/Linux With a detailed description of your problem, when reporting a graphicsĭriver bug via the NVIDIA Linux forum (see ) Nvidia-bug-report does not give anything useful: _ OpenGL ES profile shading language version string: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 1.00 OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 2.0 NVIDIA 340.96 340.96 OpenGL shading language version string: 3.30 NVIDIA via Cg compiler OpenGL version string: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 340.96 OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 3.30 NVIDIA via Cg compiler OpenGL core profile version string: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 340.96 Glxinfo $ glxinfo | grep "version\|direct\ rendering" NVIDIA drivers for linux, 340xx legacy branch NVIDIA drivers libraries symlinks (32-bit) ![]() What I have installed: $ pacman -Qs nvidia Which leads me to conclusion it is something with my drivers/configuration (maybe). However switching to nouveau basically fixes that issue. GSdx software mode more or less works as expected, but the hardware mode with nvidia gets me less then 1 fps. I’ve tried reaching wine forums for help, but nothing.īut today I’ve noticed the problem in PCSX2 too. ![]() But switching to nouveau fixed all those performance issues. Many games performed poorly - Touhou6 ran less than 3 fps, Undertale, some visual novels ran poorly too, Audiosurf, etc. CSGO, Minecraft, Dust, FEZ, KerbalSP, etc, all those work fine with proprietary.įor quite a long time I thought the issue was a problem of wine because it was the only software, where I noticed the issue. Though that is not a solution, because I need prop. Other thing to point out is when I switch to open source nouveau, the problem goes away. I have noticed abysmal performance of proprietary nvidia drivers - the point is that is only in a few selected applications, namely wine and pcsx2. ![]() I searched google, arch forums and it seams a few people have this problem but I haven't found a solution.08:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G94M (rev a1) Some kinda plugin failure: /usr/lib32/pcsx2/libCDVDlinuz.so (p) GS plugin failed to open!(thread:MTGS)(thread:EE Core)įile is not a PCSX2 pluginPath: /usr/lib32/pcsx2/libCDVDlinuz.so LibGL error: failed to load driver: swrastįailed to create the opengl context.
